B. hamorii is a species of tarantula also known as the "Mexican Redknee." It is native to the western coast of Mexico and is a popular species kept as a pet among tarantula enthusiasts. The adult females can grow up to 6 inches in leg span and have a striking black body with red-orange knee joints. Males are smaller and have a more brownish coloration.
