What is chuluteca?

Choluteca is a city in southern Honduras, situated on the banks of the Choluteca River. It is the capital of the department of Choluteca and has a population of approximately 150,000 people. The city is known for its colonial architecture, including the historic Santa Rosa de Lima Church, which was built in the 18th century. Choluteca is also an important commercial and agricultural center, with a thriving market and many factories producing textiles, food, and other products. The city is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, including mountains, forests, and beaches, making it a popular destination for tourists and outdoor enthusiasts. Despite its many attractions, Choluteca has struggled with poverty and social inequality, and its infrastructure and services are often inadequate to meet the needs of local residents.
