What is haggish?

Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish made from a combination of minced heart, lungs, and liver of a sheep mixed with oats, onion, suet, and spices. The mixture is then stuffed into a sheep's stomach and simmered for several hours. It is usually served with "neeps and tatties," or turnips and potatoes, and a whiskey cream sauce. Haggis is considered a delicacy in Scotland and is often served at festive occasions such as Burns Night, which commemorates the life and work of the famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns. It has a distinctive, savory flavor and a slightly crumbly texture.
