What is rtis?

RTIs, or Respiratory Tract Infections, are a group of infections that affect the respiratory system. This includes the nose, throat, sinuses, trachea, bronchi, and lungs.

Common RTIs include the common cold, flu, bronchitis, pneumonia, and sinusitis. They are usually caused by viruses, although bacteria can also be a cause.

Symptoms of an RTI can include coughing, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat, fever, and difficulty breathing. Most RTIs can be managed with rest, fluids, and over-the-counter medications. However, some cases may require antibiotics or other medical treatments.

The best way to prevent an RTI is by practicing good hygiene habits such as regularly washing hands, covering your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, avoiding close contact with sick individuals, and getting vaccinated against the flu.
