VFA-122 (Strike Fighter Squadron 122), also known as the "Flying Eagles", is a United States Navy strike fighter squadron based at Naval Air Station Lemoore, California. The squadron was originally commissioned in 1948 and has flown several different types of aircraft throughout its history.
Currently, the squadron operates the F/A-18 Super Hornet, which is a multirole fighter aircraft used for air-to-air and air-to-ground missions.
