What is wankdorfstadion?

Wankdorfstadion was a football stadium located in Bern, Switzerland. It was built in 1925 and had a capacity of 64,000 people. Throughout its history, the stadium was home to various football clubs, including BSC Young Boys and FC Bern.

Wankdorfstadion was also the site of the infamous "Miracle of Bern" match in the 1954 FIFA World Cup final, in which West Germany defeated Hungary 3-2.

The stadium underwent renovations in the 1990s, reducing its capacity to 32,000, and was renamed Stade de Suisse in 2005. It now serves as the home stadium for BSC Young Boys.
