What is gyrobee?

GyroBee is a type of gyroplane, also known as an autogyro or gyrocopter. It is a personal aircraft that is relatively easy to fly, designed to be used for recreational purposes and as an affordable alternative to traditional helicopters.

The GyroBee is unique as it uses a rotor that is not powered like a traditional helicopter. Instead, the rotor is spun by the airflow generated by the aircraft's forward motion. The engine powers a propeller that provides the necessary forward-thrust to make the rotor spin, creating lift.

The GyroBee was designed by Ralph Taggart and is marketed by Aeroprakt, a Ukrainian-based aircraft manufacturer. The aircraft is sold in kit form and can be constructed by the owner. It has a single-person cockpit, with an open design that provides a panoramic view. The aircraft has a maximum speed of around 70 mph and a ceiling altitude of roughly 10,000 feet.

The gyroplane is highly maneuverable and can takeoff and land in very short distances due to its ability to hover in place. It has become a popular recreational aircraft among aviation enthusiasts worldwide due to its unique flight characteristics and affordability.
