What is korrigans?

Korrigans are mythical creatures from Breton folklore, which originated in the Brittany region of France. They are typically depicted as small, mischievous spirits or fairies who live in the woods or near water sources such as wells and fountains.

Korrigans are believed to be able to shape-shift into animals and can also grant wishes or cause mischief. They are said to enjoy dancing and have been known to lure people into the forest to dance with them, often resulting in the person losing track of time or becoming lost.

In some tales, korrigans are associated with treasure and can lead people to hidden wealth. However, they are also known to be easily offended and can curse those they feel have wronged them.

In modern times, korrigans are still recognized as a part of Breton culture and can be seen in artwork and local festivals.
